We recommend the Giell Mannequins because of the quality. We shoot haircutting videos from time to time to show off the quality of our shears. We like to bleach the mannequin hair blonde because it shows up better on camera. When we have used other mannequins in the past, we have had problems with the hair falling out and not taking the bleach properly. The Giell Mannequins color nicely and make our shears look even better. We have them at our booth for people to try out their shears and know that the quality of the hair is such it will not dull our shears like other brands of mannequins. On another note, I've noticed strings in the hair, cotton strings which are not good for our shears and got one complaint on our website about that. I don't think the earlier mannequins we got had this.
